Now I have mentioned before that if you are going to buy a corset then b e sure to do so from a proper corset designer. A cheap corset that is bought from your average high street shop will not only make you look cheap but will also be uncomfortable.

Madame Sher and Maya Henson are possible the two best well known corset makers however one option to consider would be Velda Lauder. Las Vegas style lingerie shopping.

Today saw the release of a new style of lingerie shopping and the first thing I had to do was check it. I came across a press release about Seeab who had launched lingerie shopping live. My first concern was that live models were going to end up getting hassled by men demanding that they show the lingerie off in any way they desire.

Upon arriving at the website of Sheeab, I discovered the term was a little bit misleading as it was not live lingerie models displaying the purchases. Instead it is a 12 second pre-recorded video displaying the lingerie item from all angles. To be honest I was a little bit surprised as the 12 second pre recorded video provides less information than the Zoom factor on the picture. I ended up playing one video three times to comprehend what was being said.

Gail and Gabreille Friedland are the owners behind this new style of lingerie shopping and their inspiration was Las Vegas. They wanted to add the personal touch and a bit of fun into lingerie shopping. They claim the videos give more of a visual idea of how the lingerie will look but to honest I was no the wiser. Well done girls for trying to move shopping in a new direction however I would of liked to see longer and more informative videos.

Christian Dior lingerie collection 2010

So Christian Dior has unveiled his lingerie collection for 2010. A good display of products with the emphasis still on the retro look with lace trims and bows. The Lingerie was mainly in the colors of blacks, purples and gave a very floaty transparent look. We only see a couple of corsets but plenty of baby dolls. Bras and pants were very hard to see over the props that Christian used. Big mistake as it took the emphasize away from the lingerie itself.

It was just unfortunate that you can spot Christian is not purely a lingerie designer. You can not help but get the feeling that the lingerie collection was an afterthought and it is easy to spot that very little effort went into originality. Perhaps he knows that he has his own base of fans already however I would prefer to see more from Christian when it comes to lingerie.

G strings from Roza

For those that are looking for lingerie that just pushes over the edge then Roza is a very good choice. Their lingerie shop is aimed at being sexy, provocative and definitely for a night in with your man. Highly recommended is their selection of g - strings and thongs. Now before you scoff at the thought of wearing a G-string or thong they are perfect for avoiding the dreaded VPL. Yes a visible panties line, they are not attractive and all they do is draw attention to your bottom instead of the all over you. Roza has a wide selection of G-strings and thongs that look sexy, elegant and stylish.

Agnes is a white thong with butterfly lace at the back and a two strap side section. Azalia is one of my favorites with the intricate design covering the hips and introducing the hipster thong into Roza’s lingerie collection. Of course if you just want a plain old fashioned thing then there are plenty of them as well. If you have not yet discovered the versatile ability of the G-string and thing then buy one today. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

One company that has perfected elegant lingerie is Karen Millen however they are still relatively unknown for this due to the fact that they originally started out making and selling white shirts. The current elegant lingerie collection is a smooth blend of blacks, greys and lace trims but I find there is not a wide selection to choose from and it would be nice to see them complete some more designs with the same eagerness and results that have been seen in their everyday wear clothes collections.

Karen Millen originally started out in 1981 with just 100 meters of white cotton however today the company oversees twelve designers and are known international especially for their evening wear. With shops in America, Scotland and Paris we can not help but praise Karen and her designers. However I await with anticipation for the day when their lingerie collections become a shoppers delight.

Diki seems to know exactly what romantic lingerie is all about. The brand incorporates fun and sexiness into their romantic lingerie in such a way that you can not help but get your credit card out. Previous collections have earned them the nickname as the Queen of romantic lingerie and I can not see any other designer taking that title away soon. Names of their products include forever darling, my true love, my hearts desire and say you love me. It seems that Diki knows exactly what romantic lingerie is all about and I am giving them ten out of ten.

Sexy lingerie has turned out to be Caprice’s lifeline. Not only did she make thousands of dollars from modelling it, she also has her own empire of sexy lingerie with a turn over of around 4 million dollars. Upon hearing this news I immediately hurried off to find her website and I have to say I am very impressed. Not only has she designed sexy lingerie in an elegant style but the prices are affordable as well. Her collection of sexy lingerie is a pleasant mixture of black, purples, and light blues. She has also incorporated lace and see through into her designs but in a sophisticated style. I have to take my hat off to Caprice, well done girl.

Designer to the rich and famous Damaris has mastered the art of see though lingerie especially in her Frisson collection. She has combined see through with a romantic look in her slips, bras and knickers.

However with none of her products under $100, the collection costs more than a lot of women can afford for see through lingerie. The good news though is that Damaris wants to bring out a collection suitable for the high street. Hopefully see through lingerie will be included. Watch this space!
