Ladies lingerie once again hit the news two days ago when the most famous ladies lingerie fashion show took place for the 14th year running. Victoria’s Secret once again used their angels to display ladies lingerie in a show that matched all the previous years. Surprises took place with Heidi Klum joining the catwalk so soon after the birth of her forth child. She was of course looking just as superb and along with all the other angels gave another show of suspense, elegance and intrigue that bought the house down. The traditional trademark of wings on all the lingerie models was still there and the audience featured its normal choice of celebrities and the rich and famous.

The ladies lingerie business has seen Victoria’s secret make profits of over one billion dollars in a year. It is hard to believe that the company was started by a man called Roy Raymond in 1977. His idea was to offer a relaxing, embarrassment free environment for men to buy ladies lingerie for their wives or girlfriends. After building three stores, he sold the company on and in it’s time it has gone from strength to strength. It is now the number one retailer in the USA of ladies lingerie.
Will the success of Victoria’s secret ever end? I don’t think so. The company has a strict business plan to dominate the world of ladies lingerie. They have a set idea in their head of who their customers are and what their reputation to the outside world will be. Well done to Victoria’s secret . I hope they have many more fruitful years to come.
